Looking for your next date night? The Lume Melbourne is launching a delicious three-course dinner after the sell-out success of their Valentine’s Day dining event. Lose yourself in the sights and sounds of French Impressionism at their Monet & Friends exhibition, then, take your taste buds to Paris at Café De Flore. The new dining experience will launch on Friday April 14.
Dining À Deux at The Lume Melbourne
Indulge in a specially-designed menu while experiencing the sensational works of Monet, Degas, Renoir and more. Choose an entrée and a main, then share a sweet dessert.
Entrée items include: Canard à l’orange (duck, orange and Remoulade), Niçoise de Crevettes (poached prawn with Tarago olives, kifler and heirloom tomatoes) and Betterave pressée (beetroot, leek and pine nut).
For mains, choose between Daube de Boeuf (beef cheek, French bean and Paris mash), Saumon de Petit Poireaux (salmon and baby leeks) or Lentilles du puy (lentil, pumpkin, parsnip and sorrel).
For dessert, there’s chocolate and grand marnier soufflé with vanilla bean ice cream, a selection of macarons, and a selection of cheeses with sherry quince, apple and walnuts.
This dinner is available every Friday and Saturday night, with two sittings at 5:30pm and 7:30pm. It costs $145 per person, and $160 per person for a front row table.
Otherwise, you can visit Café de Flore at other times to try their range of pastries, mains and drinks.
