Monet & Friends Alive at The Lume
The Lume is the Southern Hemisphere’s first purpose-built space that animates art at an immersive, floor-to-ceiling level. Enter a swirling world of sights, sounds, tastes and aromas. See the work of Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne, Édouard Manet, Georges Seurat and much more, projected in a 360-degree environment.
The projections will be joined by curated aromas, sounds, tastes and experiences. Meander over a bridge and into a recreation of Monet’s Bridge Over a Pond of Water Lilies. Watch ballerinas dance their way around the space. See women with parasols stroll past as the famous Woman With A Parasol painting lights up the room. Enter a studio space and try to create your own replicas of famous paintings. Plunge into a mirrored water lily world, and feel like you’re underwater.
After that, take your taste buds to 19th century France at their dedicated café, Café de Flore, and enjoy a perfectly curated menu. Nibble on pastries and grazing plates, enjoy larger mains, treat yourself to a dessert and sip a drink or two.
