After a successful inaugural event in Sydney, Australia’s first national Pet Show is coming to Melbourne. Listen to experts, interact with pets, find pawfect products and more at Melbourne Showgrounds on Saturday March 25 and Sunday March 26.
The Pet Show
Celebrate and experience all things pets at The Pet Show. If you’re looking for a fur-baby, an existing pet parent, or just an animal lover in general, you’ll have plenty of fun at Melbourne Showgrounds. The Pet Show is split into different towns based on different types of pets, like dogs, cats, and fish. You’ll find smaller animals, like lizards, birds and snakes in Small Town.
Throughout the different zones, you’ll chat with breeders, meet with rescue groups, learn about grooming and more. In Dog Town, you’ll meet Bluey and Bingo, and see incredible dog demonstrations in the Dog Arena. Meanwhile, in Small Town, you’ll enjoy a hands-on experience and meet insects, lizards, snakes, turtles and frogs.
The Pet Show will feature a range of experts, including local Victorians Dr Kate Mornement and Erin Funnel, Queen of Ants. There will also be talent from interstate, such as Dr Katrina Warren, Dr Kate Adams, Ben Dessen, Dr Audrey and Dr Alison Shen.
At the show, you’ll find a huge variety of exhibitors showcasing their products and offering event-only deals. Pamper your pet with products from KONG, Whimzees, Reptile One, Georgie Paws and more.
Kids will have plenty to see and do at The Pet Show, with face painting, workshops, treasure hunts and interactive, vet-related activities.
After watching the stage shows, interacting with exhibitors and taking photos, grab a bite to eat at one of the many food areas.
Tickets are on sale now, and part of the proceeds will go towards RSPCA.
