The past couple of years have created a lot of pent-up emotions. Whether you’re feeling cooped up, frustrated, or burnt out, let it all out in one fell swoop in The Smash Room. Grab a bat and smash some items with the support of your friends. This entertainment venue is the only place in Melbourne that allows groups to wreak havoc together. Find The Smash Room in Keilor East, only 17km from Melbourne CBD.
The Smash Room
At The Smash Room, you’ll go with your crew, don some overalls and smash things with no consequences. There are five smash rooms available for hire, and each room can accommodate different group sizes.
You will receive clean and sanitised safety clothing during your visit. This includes overalls, a face shield, earplugs, gloves and your very own baseball bat. Smashing sessions last for a maximum of 45 minutes, which will give you plenty of time to break mugs, plates, glasses, TVs, PlayStations and more.
To make things extra fun, this venue has a retro-neon aesthetic. Pop on some 80s costumes for a laugh, and play a game of table tennis on their UV neon tables. You’ll also have access to other activities, like air hockey tables, arcade gaming machines and foosball.
The Smash Room is also a unique place for functions like birthdays and work parties. There’s a dining room for you to BYO catering, and the function space will soon have a lounge, karaoke space and VR machines.
This venue also accepts donations from the community. After you’ve released your pent-up emotions, see if you have any old crockery, glassware or electronic equipment that can be put to good use.
After the items are destroyed, the team recycles the e-waste, ceramic, glass and plastic materials separately, so that they can be transformed into roads, tyres and other items in the future.
