We all love our doggos, and our doggos love us. Show them you care by taking them on a fetching day out to Theme Bark. After a sell-out event last year, this doggy playground is bouncing back to Melbourne for another round of fun. Your pooch can show off their skills at a giant dogstacle course, play in a ball pit, take part in dog yoga, eat treats and more! Theme Bark will take place at Port Melbourne Industrial Centre for the Arts (PICA) on Saturday August 12, from 10am to 5pm.
Theme Bark
At this family-friendly park, you’ll have a pawsome day out. Let loose at the doggy dash and find out if your pup is the fastest in Melbourne. Put their skills to the test in a giant dogstacle course, and frolic in the ball pit play pen. Take part in the pup parade and enter the pup pageant, with heaps of prizes up for grabs.
Then, take a walkie down Barkery Lane. There, you’ll find a delightful market filled with treats, accessories, toys and clothes. Encourage your dog’s creativity with a Pup Picasso painting experience, where your pup will paint and take home their own canvas.
Relax and unwind with a bit of dog yoga, and find plenty of food and beverages for humans at the food trucks on-site.
After such a fun day out with your best friend, you certainly won’t want to forget it! That’s why there will be plenty of fun photo stations for your dog to pose, and for you to capture some incredibly adorable memories.
Dogs must be on a leash at all times and up-to-date with their vaccinations. Session times run for two hours, and early bird tickets for visitors above 13 are $30.28. Tickets include entry for one person and up to two dogs.
