Step into Trilogy of Romance, and discover a handpicked selection of romance books, ranging from indie authors and hard-to-find titles to beloved bestsellers. When you’re not browsing through the books, get nice and cosy in the cafe, or look out for in-store events like author signings. The Trilogy of Romance book cafe is open daily, and you’ll find it in Ascot Vale, about ten minutes away from the Ascot Vale and Moonee Ponds train stations.
Trilogy of Romance
Founded and independently run by cousins Leyla and Aleyna, Trilogy of Romance first began as an online store in February 2024. They opened their physical store only a few months ago, providing a welcoming space for readers.
Their curated selection of stories focuses on genres that are often underrepresented in traditional bookstores, such as dark romance, mafia, MM, taboo and indie titles. Wander along the shelves and find your next obsession, or have a chat with them for recommendations. Or, get a nice surprise with the Blind Date With A Book experience, where you’ll get a mystery story in the vibe of your choice, along with fun extras like bookish merch.
While you’re there, why don’t you get yourself a little treat? Settle in to the cafe, and relax with a drink, like specialty coffee, matcha or hot chocolate. There’s also a rotating selection of pastries, like croissants, muffins and scrolls.

The venue also runs in-store author events, such as book launches and signings. For an even greater sense of community, if you’ve got a book club, you can book the space after hours for a private gathering.
