How does Victoria compare nationally?

While Noble Park takes the unwanted title of Victoria’s lowest-rated post office, New South Wales dominates the national bottom 10, with seven outlets making the list.
NSW also has 23 of the 38 post offices across Australia averaging below two stars. Victoria’s overall results are slightly stronger, with its 246 outlets averaging 3.05 stars compared with 3.00 stars across 240 post offices in NSW.
At the other end of the rankings, Victoria has three of the country’s 10 highest-rated post offices: Wantirna, Batman in Coburg and Brentford Square in Forest Hill. NSW has four, including Kingsway West in Kingsgrove, Austral, Berowra and Sydney Markets.
Batman Post Office in Coburg is also the most-reviewed outlet in Australia, with 1,459 Google reviews.
The analysis covered 814 open post offices nationwide, including licensed post offices and post shops, with at least 50 Google reviews. Researchers collected the data in October 2026, calculating each outlet’s average from its individual one- to five-star review counts rather than relying on Google’s rounded display rating.
Ratings can change as customers leave new reviews, so the rankings may shift over time. For now, Noble Park sits at the bottom of Victoria’s list, followed by nine other outlets across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
