Latin Day Festival at Preston Market
Get moving and follow the sound of a music to this beloved market. Expect a line-up of energetic performances from Brazilian samba dancers, a three-piece mariachi band and salsa dancers. If you’re keen for a photo, the Brazilian dancers will also wander around the market throughout the day.
Arrive hungry, because you can look forward to plenty of sensational flavours from pop-up stalls. Look forward to Brazilian BBQ from Brazos, empanadas from Colombiantojos and pandebono (Colombian cheese bread) from Artesano Bakery. For sweet treats, tuck into churros and gelato from Corntupia as well as pastelitos and tequenos from Ms Venezuela. Wash it down with drinks from Gindu and Tallboy & Moose.
The kids will have heaps of fun with face painting and piñata smashing from 11am to 2pm.
