As the weather gets colder, you might be looking for more things to try indoors. Funlab, the team behind Holey Moley, Strike Bowling, and B. Lucky & Sons, has got you covered. Wrangle your friends and try a new game of laser tag or free-roam virtual reality at Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq. Show off your skills in these two new arenas, then stick around for some bowling, bumper cars and arcade games. Both the Zero Latency virtual reality and laser tag experiences are now open for bookings.
Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq
Put on a headset, or don a laser tag vest. It’s time to have some fun.
“The laser tag and VR experiences are nothing like you’ve ever seen before,” said Blaise Witnish, Chief Growth & Innovation Officer at Funlab. “If there’s anything Melbournians deserve after a tough couple of years, it’s a wealth of fun, excitement and place for family and friends to gather over games, food and drinks.”
Immerse yourself in a free-roam VR experience, with the latest technology from Zero Latency. With 5k resolution graphics and 3D spatial audio, you’ll enter a completely different world, and struggle to tell the difference between fiction and reality. The arena is about the size of a tennis court, and you can wander freely through the game, without worrying about tripping over cables.
There’s seven thrilling games to choose from, so you’ll always be able to come back for more. Take on zombies, fight off killer robots, explore a world without gravity and much more. Eight people can play per session, and there’s games suitable for a range of ages. Games last for about 30 minutes. From Monday to Thursday, games cost $39 per person. Meanwhile, from Friday to Sunday, games cost $59 per person.
After that, step out of the virtual world, and into an abandoned carnival for a round of laser tag. Show off your shooting skills with your friends, and duck and cover behind some clown faces and carnival rides. To play laser tag, you will need to purchase a game card when you arrive at the venue. This card can be used to play the arcade games and attractions at Archie Brothers, including laser tag. One game of laser tag costs $14.
Keep the fun going with a bit of bowling, bumper cars and arcade games. Then, keep your energy up with some delicious food, and crazy cocktails.
