Ballers Clubhouse is officially opening its doors in Carlton on July 12, so round up your friends, sip a cocktail or two, and have a ball! Bookings are available now.
Ballers Clubhouse in Carlton
This playground for adults is the perfect crossover between a club and an arcade. Find plenty of picture-perfect moments dotted around the venue, from a mirror ball love seat to an illuminated ping pong tree.
Get the party started with cocktails from the Ballers Clubhouse mixologists. They’ve whipped up some intriguing concoctions that have an element of theatre and gameplay. Safe Cracker Cocktail – The Houdini’s Escape, for example, is served in a miniature safe. Crack the code in 60 seconds to free a miniature Houdini. This little figurine is suspended in an ice cube above your drink. If you crack the code in time, you can celebrate with a free Baller signature shot. Meanwhile, the Smoky Skull Heist Negroni comes in a black briefcase, hidden in a haze of smoke. The bar staff will guard this drink with fake guns as they deliver it to you.
As the libations flow, have fun with a game or two.
Highlights include:
- Ball Pit Karaoke – Jump into the ball pit, grab a microphone and belt out your favourite tunes.
- 360 Ping Pong – instead of a classic, flat ping pong table, you’ll be playing ping pong on a 1.5m diameter pipe. This game will need complete concentration as the ping pong ball bounces around the strange surface.
- Cool Pool – the classic pool table has been elevated. As you play, see projected videos beamed on to the table that move according to the pool balls at play. Watch Mario, Bowser and Luigi get up to mischief, watch sea creatures chase your balls around the table, and more.
- Neo Shuffle – the century-old shuffleboard game now has 360-degree cameras that record all the action. This Australian-first supercharges game play and enables auto scoring. Up to eight people can play at the same time across automated scoring games, including Black Jack or Curling.
- Social Darts – as you play darts, cameras will record where each dart lands for instant tallying. Check out the massive TV screens, follow the instructions and play addictive games like Shanghai, Moon Landing and Killer.
Keep your energy levels up with some delicious food from the Posh Nosh Kitchen. They’ve got plenty of comfort food, like waffle fries, arancini green curry, ping pong chicken with chipotle mayo and cheeseburger spring rolls to keep you happy. There’s also a selection of treats like sliders, pizzas and tacos.
The Carlton venue is just the beginning for Ballers Clubhouse. Over the next 12 months, they will continue to grow around the country, with plans to open venues in Geelong, Adelaide, Hobart and Brisbane.
This social experience is great for a date night, a catch-up with friends, corporate events and more. Bookings are available now.
