A new venue inspired by the “effortless cool” of L.A rooftop bars has come to Chapel Street. Sitting 24 levels above the iconic street, Beverly Rooftop features a breath-taking 270-degree view of the Melbourne cityscape. Set atop Goldfields House, Beverly is an earthy space that’s perfect for cocktails, catch-ups and leisurely bites. With a retractable glass roof, Beverly is prepared for Melbourne’s unpredictable weather all year round. It opens to the public on Thursday April 13.
Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and unwind in this dreamy space. Step out of the elevator and marvel at panoramic views that will take you from the Yarra River to Port Phillip Bay and beyond. Find a seat on one of the outdoor lounges, bars and intimate tables sprawled across the venue.
The rooftop bar features a curated drinks list that explores locally sourced products. Expect a refined wine list with approachable Australian biodynamic and organic wines, as well as a selection of craft beers and spirits. Meanwhile, on the cocktail menu, you’ll find revitalised classics made with native herbs, locally made spirits and unique garnishes. Highlights include the Bellini Sunset (Moet, Campari, Peach Puree and rose petals) and the Goldfields (Pampero Anejo Especial mixed with Cointreau, Frangelico, Tonka Bean and topped with honey).
Beverly Rooftop has an open kitchen and bar, serving up dishes with southern Californian influences and a modern Australian take. Share snacks like Bluefin Tartare served with chilli yuzu mayo topped on a tostada, or Crumbed Mac n Cheese with truffle gouda topped with Mornay sauce.
You’ll also find fresh and seasonal small plates, like Prawn Ceviche with jalapeno cream, coriander mojo and macadamias or Line Caught Bluefin Tuna Sashimi served with wasabi, tamari and lemon. Large plates include Marron & Spanner Crab pasta, Pulled Pork Belly Ragu, and smoked plant-based chicken pappardelle. You can also indulge in bites from the fire, including 200g wagyu rump served with chips and butter. Treat yourself to oysters, sides and a range of delicious desserts.
This luxurious venue will take you from day to night. It’ll open from 12pm to late from Wednesday to Sunday, and 4pm to late on Tuesdays.
