Join their team of expert dogs on a hunt among the trees, or pamper yourself with an indulgent brunch, lunch, or dinner on select nights.

Rug up, put on some sensible shoes and drive just over an hour away from Melbourne for this terrific truffle hunt. Join a very fluffy, very professional truffle hunter as they sniff around the truffière. Breathe in the crisp winter air, and watch as the dog investigates around the oak trees. Feel a sense of surprise and triumph as they uncover these ripe, delicious treasures. As you explore the farm, you’ll learn all about truffles, and gain a deeper sense of appreciation for these earthy treats.
You can book yourself in for just a truffle hunt, or treat yourself to a delicious meal afterwards. For $150, you could enjoy an afternoon of grazing afterwards, where you’ll enjoy local produce and truffles. For, for a more indulgent affair, you could follow the hunt with a degustation lunch for $220. This six-course meal has truffles incorporated into every dish, and is paired with locally-sourced ingredients. Both combos include a warm cider on arrival.

Dining experiences
Black Cat Truffles is open for brunch on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Brunch is à la carte, and features seasonal produce. You can also upgrade your experience with a bottomless option, where you’ll get your choice of breakfast, coffee and unlimited mimosas.
This venue is also available for long lunch on Fridays, where you can enjoy a Chef’s Selection of dishes for $90. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can treat yourself to a degustation for $120. For the first time, Black Cat Truffles is also open for dinner on select nights, including the evening before Mother’s Day, the launch for the winter season, and the night of the winter solstice.
