Dearest gentle reader, it’s been well over a year since we danced together at the Bridgerton ball, and the social season has never been the same. If you’ve missed mingling with other elegant lords and ladies, you’re in luck. There will be a delightful masquerade event right here in Melbourne, celebrating the new season of Bridgerton. The Bridgerton Masquerade Parlour will open on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1. Entry is free, and will run on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bridgerton Masquerade Parlour
You’re cordially invited to step into the Parlour, and explore a luxurious space inspired by Bridgerton. Look out for roaming paperboys and footmen at the store front, and join the queue. Once you enter. you will be greeted by the store’s maid, who will invite you to explore the Parlour, and perfect your look for the masquerade.
Look forward to:
- Pampering Stations – take part in a Jewellery Colour Analysis to find out if gold or silver suits you best. Head to the Signature Makeup Shade Identification to find out what works for you. Learn how to complete your look at the Glove Fitting Station. And find pretty pins at the Hair Coiffures section.
- Character Mask Archetypes – an experienced Masketeer will chat with you to find out which Bridgerton character archetype suits you the most. Are you The Muse, The Bohemian, or (gasp!) The Gossip? From there, you will learn which mask you should wear.
- Masquerade Ball Keepsake – venture up the stairs and pose for your own fairytale portrait in a stunning Masquerade Ballroom setting. You’ll be able to take a photo home. Of course, dotted around the Parlour, you’ll find plenty of other photo opportunities too!
