Burger Road
Created by husband and wife duo, Anna Dewan and Ishu Wadhawan, Burger Road has been grilling up some tasty American-styled burgers since 2017. And this weekend, they’re serving up some mouth-watering burgers for free.
“We launched Burger Road as a means to satisfy our own love of burgers,” said Ishu. “We’re so proud of how our business has and continues to grow, and are so grateful for our loyal staff and customers. We see International Burger Day as an opportunity to celebrate the delicious meal that binds us all together.”
Wrap your hands around the meaty cheeseburger, which features a succulent, grilled Wagyu beef patty between the two buns. It’s topped with two slices of cheese for gooeyness, as well as the classic cheeseburger accompaniments of tomato sauce, mustard and pickles.
However, if you don’t feel like meat on the day, opt for their Beyond Cheese burger instead. This burger features a tasty vegan meat patty, vegan cheese, tomato sauce, mustard and pickles.
On International Burger Day, Burger Road will only be serving the free beef and vegan cheeseburgers between 12pm and 3pm. Due to the demand of the free goods, no other burgers will be available for purchase during this time. So, if you feel like something else, you’ll have to wait.
Meanwhile, sides, milkshakes and desserts will be available at their usual price.
There will be one free burger available for each person at the Fairfield, Hawthorn, Werribee, Highett and Craigieburn stores. Any add-ons will be charged.
