As we know, the Australian Grand Prix is a car lover’s playground! Albert Park is now packed with automotive icons, from rare vintage race cars to your household names like Toyota and Ford. You’ll find most of these displays on the list in the Motorsport Straight precinct, but there’s still plenty of cool cars scattered around every corner of Albert Park. Whether you’re a die-hard rev-head, or you’re a curious newbie, this guide will help you know what cars to expect at the 2026 Australian Grand Prix so you don’t miss out!
Melbourne Supercars Paddock

Step into the home of Melbourne SuperSprint, and get up close and personal with some of the thunderous V8 engines of Australia’s premier touring car category, including a Ford Mustang GT.
Porsche Equity-One Carrera Cup Paddock

Check out the sea of Porsche 911 GT3 Cups ready for race warfare, including crowd-favourite Lightning McQueen.
Shannons Super Rig

This is the ultimate destination for motorsport history, including getting to see this inflatable 1960s car. It’s an absolute must-visit for racing enthusiasts (or car newbies) looking to soak up the heritage of the sport. There’s lots of memorabilia to discover at the Shannons Super Rig, as well as driver simulators.
Mini Mokes

We thought this deserved a special mention. You can check out these cute custom-liveried Mini Mokes in all the different team colours, such as Aston Martin, Ferrari and Racing Bulls.
Racing Past – Celebrating Jack Brabham

See one of the largest displays of Brabham and Cooper cars, in celebration of what would be Jack Brabham’s 100th Birthday, and 60 years since his third World Championship. Check out cars like the Matich SR3 and the Brabham BT19.
Ford with Oracle Red Bull Racing

Ford is back with an awesome display that features a small line-up of vehicles, including the messy Ford Raptor T1+ Truck, built for off-road racing. They also have their own car simulator to race with friends.
Toyota Gazoo Racing

Head to Racing Gazoo and jump into some of their high performance racing vehicles. Just be prepared for a line, especially for the gaming simulator.
Cadillac Formula 1 Car
Cadillac has a few different cars on display, but this full-scale MAC-26 display model is a gem to stare at.
Porsche
Celebrate 75 years of Porsche in Australia. If you can’t afford one of their $150K+ cars but want to see how it feels, this display lets you discover their customised sports cars.
Audi

While they don’t have a heap of cars on this display, this beauty was too good not to add to the list. You’re looking at an Auto Union Type B, driven by Achille Varzi who won the 1935 Spanish Grand Prix.
F1 Sportscars

We can’t finish without mentioning the stars of the race, but you can only see all of them if you’ve booked a seat at the grandstand. And for the lucky ticket holders that thought ahead, the best way to get a better look is to book a Pit Lane Walk. If you were lucky enough to snag a Pit Lane Walk ticket, you’ll get to stand just meters away from your favourite cars like Mclaren and Ferrari as the mechanics prep them for the race.
