We’re already a week into December, and Christmas is rapidly approaching. If you’ve finished decorating your home, but feel like it needs something more, why don’t you take a Christmas wreath workshop? It will add a personal touch to your home, and fill you with a sense of pride. Melbourne has some wonderful Christmas wreath workshops that will leave your front door looking, and smelling, delightful. Which one will you choose?
1. Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens
Create your own fresh Christmas Wreath at Plant Craft Cottage in the Royal Botanic Gardens. Over a two hour session, you’ll spend your morning with tutor Sophie Kempton, who will help you create a beautifully fragrant decoration for your front door. All equipment, materials and morning tea will be provided. No experience is necessary.
This workshop will take place on Saturday December 11, from 10am to 12pm.
2. Daily Blooms
Get creative with head florist Bella at this workshop in Kensington. Create the Daily Blooms signature Sugar & Spice Wreath, a traditional Christmas Wreath, or your own fabulously unique creation. There will be plenty of nibbles and bubbles to go around!
There are two sessions available with limited spots in each workshop. The first event will take place on Sunday December 12, from 10am to 12pm. The second workshop will run on Wednesday December 15, from 6pm to 8pm.
3. Bloomin’ Marvellous Flower School
At this delightful location in Malvern, there are a range of Christmas workshops for you to try. Create a Christmas wreath out of fresh flowers, which will brighten up the room and keep your house smelling beautiful. Or, create a wreath out of artificial and preserved flowers for something that will last beyond the festive season. And finally, if wreaths aren’t quite your style but you’d still like to get in the holiday spirit, create your own statement table arrangement at their Christmas floristry workshop.
These classes are all beginner-friendly and the lovely Jemina will help you create something truly magical.
