Farmer’s Daughters
Opening to much acclaim last year, Farmer’s Daughters is a culinary ode to the farmers and produce of Gippsland. This vision by executive chef Alejandro Saravia stretches over three levels on Collins Street, and includes a deli, a restaurant and a rooftop bar.
The upcoming bottomless brunch sessions will run on the idyllic rooftop, which is heated and suitable for all kinds of weather. Every Saturday this May, from the 7th to the 28th, there will be two brunch sessions devoted to bottomless drinks and delicious dishes.
Start with the now-famous Soda bread, served with Caldermeade Dairy cultured butter. Then, move on to cured Baw Baw Alpine trout rillette, with crème fraiche, dill and cucumber, as well as the Farmers Daughters Terrine, with black garlic chutney. Move on to something sweet with lemon verbena and white chocolate macaron, as well as Twenty Degrees chocolate.
To drink, there will be signature Farmer’s Collins Cocktails, as well as mimosas, Bellini’s, beer and Gippsland wine.
Sessions will last for two hours, and will start at 11:30am and 2pm. Bookings are essential, and will set you back $90 per person.
