Last month, it was revealed that Fed Square would be an official live site for the FIFA World Cup 2026. And now, we’ve got a bit more information about what you can expect, both at Fed Square, and at other free live sites in Melbourne and Victoria. In Melbourne, you can watch Australia’s opening match against Türkiye on Sunday, June 14 at 2pm in Fed Square and AAMI Park.
FIFA World Cup live sites in Melbourne for 2026
Fed Square

- Sunday, June 14 at 2pm – Australia vs Türkiye. Gates open at 12:30pm.
- Saturday, June 20, 5am – Australia vs USA. Gates open at 3:30am.
- Friday, June 26 at 12pm – Australia vs Paraguay. Gates open at 10:30am.
Security measures will be place at Fed Square, including fencing, entry gates, bag searches and hand wands.
This experience is first-come, first-served, and once Fed Square reaches capacity, visitors will be redirected to AAMI Park. Fans under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, click here.
AAMI Park

- Sunday, June 14 at 2pm – Australia vs Türkiye. Gates open at 12:30pm.
- Saturday, June 20, 5am – Australia vs USA. Gates open at 3:30am.
- Friday, June 26 at 12pm – Australia vs Paraguay. Gates open at 10:30am.
It’s first in, best dressed, so if you’re feeling keen, it’s better to arrive early. There is a limit of one bag per person, and bags must be able to fit under a seat. Find more information here.
Marvel Stadium

- Saturday, June 20, 5am – Australia vs USA.
- Friday, June 26 at 12pm – Australia vs Paraguay.
While it’s not an official government live site, Marvel Stadium will also host free screenings of the World Cup.
Saturday will be a combined experience at Friends of Fire, with the Socceroos game early in the morning, before a screening of the NBA Finals at 10:30am.
The Friday game will be screened on the 257-inch screen in Stadium Square, and there will be lots to see and do, with activations, live DJs, Foosball tables, food, drink and more.
FIFA World Cup live sites in Victoria
Outside of Melbourne, there will also be live sites in:
- Hargreaves Mall, Bendigo
- Alfred Deakin Place at the Art Gallery of Ballarat
- Johnstone Park Forecourt, Geelong
- Gippsland Performing Arts Centre, Traralgon
- Shepparton Showgrounds, Shepparton
These venues will host screenings of the opening match against Türkiye.
