Camberwell will soon have its first high end sip and paint studio. Adorned with glistening chandeliers and lavish timber benches, this blacked out studio will help you discover your inner artist, and keep you feeling pampered with locally-sourced grazing boards, BYO beverages and entertainment. Frida’s Sip N Paint will open to the public on Saturday October 15.
Frida’s Sip N Paint
This glamourous sip and paint experience launched in Hobart in 2019, and has since spread to other locations around Australia. Frida’s first arrived Melbourne earlier this year as a limited pop-up experience at Creative Art Therapy Australia (CATA). And now, it’s coming to Camberwell.
“After seeing the demand of a limited pop-up Frida’s x CATA studio in Fairfield and plenty of requests from our Melbourne fam, we realised that we needed to spread the love across Victoria,” said founder Rebecca Green.
Feel like a celebrity with a red carpet entry, and mingle with the group inside the lounge area. Then, take a seat behind the easel, and release your inner artist. You’ll be guided by a professional to help you create your own masterpiece over two to three hours. BYO drinks are encouraged, and they’ll supply glassware and ice buckets. You can also bring your own nibbles.
Painting sessions will run from Thursdays to Sundays, with trendy and seasonal designs. Frida’s will also run special events to keep things fresh, such as a Sunday High Tea, or family days during the school holidays. Sessions in other Australian cities also include fun events such as a Paint Your Pet night and an 80s-themed night.
