Friends! The Musical Parody
Join Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey and Phoebe as they hang out at Central Perk for a night of belly laughs and boisterous fun with this musical that lovingly pokes fun at the beloved show. Our favourite group of 20-something friends will take to the stage and attempt to navigate life, love and everything in between in a rib-tickling stage production.
And yes you can expect some of your favourite moments from the show to feature in the musical. Whether it’s Joey’s endearingly seductive “How You Doin” to Ross’s emphatic “We Were on a Break”, the musical plucks a number of iconic moments from the show in an uncensored romp on stage.
See the beloved characters come to life, with Annie Chiswell (Shrek) as Monica, Belinda Jenkin (50 Shades! The Musical Parody) as Phoebe and Eleanor Macintyre (The Hello Girl) as Rachel. Meanwhile, Maverick Newman (Spring Awakening) plays Chandler, Conor Putland (Once On This Island) is Joey and Tyran Stig (Little Shop of Horrors) makes his professional debut as Ross. Dom Hennequin (Violet) takes on the role of Gunther, with Callum O’Malley and Lucinda Wilson as swings.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled with this incredibly talented cast who are bringing our favourite friends to life on stage,” said producer Sam Klingner.
Friends! The Musical Parody is directed by Dash Kruck. It features choreography by Cameron Mitchell, set and costume design by Frances Hannaway, lighting design by Jason Glenwright and musical direction by Steven Kreamer.
