Melbourne’s love of fashion, art and image-making is getting a new playground this March, as Fujifilm House of Photography pops up at Chadstone—The Fashion Capital.
Running from 3rd to 22nd March, the interactive hub invites everyone from camera-curious hobbyists to professional creators to get hands-on with Fujifilm’s latest tech and immerse themselves in the craft of visual storytelling.
The pop-up marks Fujifilm’s first Melbourne appearance, following successful runs in Sydney and overseas.
Tucked in on Chadstone’s lower ground level, right outside David Jones, the temporary space promises the kind of creative play area that makes photographers linger and shoppers pose for a perfect shot.
Complimentary Fashion Shoots

Visitors can explore Fujifilm’s full lineup—from the X and GFX Series cameras to FUJINON lenses and the ever-popular instax range—while experimenting with the brand’s distinct film simulation modes and printing their creations at the in-store Print Bar.
Moreover, there’s even a “film simulation wall” that spotlights Fujifilm’s iconic colour looks and toning styles.
If that sounds like an Instagrammer’s dream, the middle weekend of the pop-up will take things further. On Saturday, 14th March, Fujifilm will host free ‘Shoot Your Style’ sessions, led by Melbourne-based fashion photographer Danielle Castano.
Shoppers can book in pairs to learn tips on lighting, framing and composition—then capture their own OOTDs inside a photo booth designed with artwork by Megan Hess, one of Australia’s best-known fashion illustrators.
“Photographing style is one of my favourite things to do,” Castano said. “These sessions are about helping people translate their fashion identity into images that feel confident, intentional and true to them.”
In addition, Participants will leave with both digital and printed keepsakes of their mini shoot—ready-made for posts or portfolios.
Capture, Post & Win
Fujifilm is also dangling an extra incentive to share the experience. Anyone who posts about their visit on Instagram can score big: top prize is a $1,500 Fujifilm House of Photography gift card and two tickets to the Creator Summit, which comes to Melbourne in May 2026.
According to Shaun Mah, General Manager of Electronic Imaging and Optical Devices at Fujifilm Australia, Melbourne’s turn was inevitable. “The response from the creative community in Sydney exceeded our expectations,” he said.
“Melbourne is one of Australia’s most vibrant creative hubs, and this is our way of meeting creators where they are — celebrating how they see the world and tell their stories.”
Finally, Registrations for the complimentary ‘Shoot Your Style’ sessions on March 14 are open now. Spots are limited, with a waitlist available once sessions fill here.
