Love cars? Race over to Geelong’s stunning waterfront for a weekend of classic cars, vintage fashion, racing, family-friendly activities and more. This popular event attracts over 50,000 visitors each year, and most of it is free to attend. The Geelong Revival Motoring Festival will run from Friday November 28 to Sunday November 30.

Geelong Revival Motoring Festival
The festivities kick off on Friday night from 4pm. Swing by Geelong’s Upper Hearne Parade for Engines, Beats & Eats. In this free event, you’ll see plenty of historic and contemporary cars from local enthusiasts, as well as tasty bites from food trucks, live DJ sets and ticket giveaways. Walk towards Eastern Beach Lawn for some fun carnival attractions.
Then on Saturday and Sunday, return to the festival for the Quarter Mile Sprints. Based on the historic Brighton Speed Trials, you’ll see cars zoom by on the curved track along Ritchie Boulevard.

For more cars, stroll along the waterfront for Shannons Classic Motorshow. See over 500 vehicles from all eras, including motorcycles, Model Ts and Maseratis.
Over the weekend, you’ll also see thrill seekers perform some sensational stunts.
Continue to step back in time at the Revival Fashion Awards. Pop by the Royal Geelong Yacht Club, and celebrate the best in vintage fashion. Everyone is welcome to compete, and there’s two categories to choose from, True Vintage and Reproduction.

Entry to the festival is free. If you’d like to get a bit closer, you can purchase Pit Pass, which offers unrestricted viewing along the quarter mile track, as well as the chance to chat with the racers. Adult tickets are $35, and children under 14 can tag along for free.
For something a little more luxe, you could buy a ticket to the VIP Zone. This gives you full access to the pit, premium viewing by the track, gourmet catering, a bar and the chance to mingle with some big names in motorsport. VIP tickets start from $225.
