
After watching the Grand Prix, you might be itching to get out on the tracks for some full throttle fun. 1. Auscarts Racing
Head just outside of Melbourne CBD for a day of go karting with Auscarts Racing. They’ve got a purpose-built indoor racing track, so you can get your adrenaline pumping without worrying about the weather. Race up to 55km/h and manoeuvre around hair pins, sunken corners and more. 2. BattleKart Melbourne
Looking for something a little different? Why don’t you try the augmented reality go-karting experience at BattleKart Melbourne? Hop into an electric kart, go for a race and interact with virtual game elements projected on the track. As you rush through the experience, you’ll feel like the main character in a video game. 3. Ace Karts
Feel like a Formula One driver at Ace Karts. Their outdoor go-kart track stretches to 700 metres, and is filled with all sorts of turns that will challenge your skills. They also have different types of karts available. Budding drivers will want to try their entry level racer, the Rookie Kart, which hits a maximum speed of 40km/h. There’s also a 2Seater Kart, allowing young racers to ride alongside a trusty adult. Finally, there’s the Super Kart, which hits a top speed of 75km/h. Find more details here.

4. Karting Madness
Karting Madness has two different locations around Melbourne for you to visit. Either way, you’ll enjoy an indoor track filled with fast straights, tight turns and technical corners. There’s three types of karts to choose from, so that racers of all ages can join in the fun. The Adult Karts hit speeds of up to 80km/h. 5. LeMans Entertainment
LeMans Entertainment is packed with all sorts of exciting activities, like laser tag, virtual reality, and yes, go-karts. This awesome space has three tracks dedicated to go karting, including a junior option for the young ones. The longest track is 650m long. There’s a variety of karts available for you to try, including Rookie Karts, Double Karts, and Super Karts with a top speed of 80km/h. 6. Phillip Island Go Karts
Take in stunning ocean views while you zoom around the 750m track at Phillip Island Go Karts. Located 90 minutes away from Melbourne, this go-karting spot is a scale replica of the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. There’s two karts to choose from, allowing you to race alone or with a young passenger. Drivers for this heart-pumping experience must be at least 12 years old.
