Limited tickets are available, and go on sale to the general public on Wednesday November 30 at 10am.
Dirty Dancing: The Immersive Cinema Experience
The Mushroom Group’s Immersive Cinema, in collaboration with Lionsgate, is returning with their phenomenal Dirty Dancing immersive event. The story of Baby & Johnny will unfold around you in real time, and in life-size recreations of the resort.
Unwind at the Gazebo and gaze at the ducks on the lake, or get involved in a Cha Cha class. Pull up a table in Kellerman’s Main Hall and witness a thrilling dance showcase. Or, take dance classes yourself, with foxtrot in the Main Hall and merengue classes at the outdoor garden stage. There will be live music, performing your favourite hits.
Head to the Lakeside Salon and pamper yourself with a wig wearing and make over session. Embrace your inner artist with daily paint classes for all ages, as well as 18+ Wine and Paint sessions. Play a round of golf at Dr. Jake Houseman’s favourite course, then grab a drink from the club house bar. Other activities include hula classes, volleyball, roaming magic shows and croquet. All of these wonderful experiences are included in your ticket.
When the sun sets, grab some popcorn and watch Dirty Dancing under the stars.
As for food, there’s seven different boutique bars and twelve dining options to choose from. Relax with a cocktail, nibble on light snacks, enjoy American dining, check out their onsite cantinas, enjoy a picnic or dine alfresco on the deck.
Kellerman’s is a technology-free resort, and smartphones are bagged on entry to help you feel like you’re in 1963. However, you can bring 35mm cameras, Polaroids and disposable cameras. Dressing up is highly encouraged. Think dresses, cardigans, summer shirts, slacks and comfy shoes for dancing.
