The Westin Melbourne is bringing back the delectable High Cheese experience for its third year. Back by popular demand, you’re invited to warm up this winter with three decadent tiers of cheesy goodness. This reimagined high tea experience is available from Tuesday to Saturday nights, from May 26. It’s all happening at Allegro Restaurant, and bookings are available now.
High Cheese at The Westin Melbourne
Celebrate all things cheese with sweet and savoury delights at this indulgent high tea. Executive Chef Apoorva Kunte has worked closely in collaboration with Jeremy Spradbery from Supercheese to create the menu. Supercheese is a specialty store in Richmond that’s known for sourcing niche, small-batch cheeses from local and international producers.

Highlights on the menu include:
- Twice-baked Mepunga Gruyère soufflé, enriched with truffle and champagne cream
- Aged Marcel Petite Comté served with smoked almond scone and blood orange and saffron butter
- Arancini with cloth-matured cheddar from Pyengana Dairy
- Baked Le Conquérant Camembert to share, finished with quince syrup
- Schulz Quark and caramelised white chocolate Basque cheesecake
Pair your cheese with a tipple from Punt Road Wines. Each booking comes with a glass of wine, but you can upgrade your experience to include an entire bottle, or try a curated wine flight.
There will be a refreshed menu from August onwards, giving you a reason to come back.
