Hume Winter Lights Festival
Warm up this winter at this electrifying festival. There’s plenty of art installations to check out, including vibrant light shows, sculptures, projections, inflatable flowers and neon creations. While you explore, dance to live music from Sneaky Sound System, The Presets and more. Then, see incredible fire performers, roving fireflies, a Chinese LED Dragon and futuristic robots.
There’s cool activities to try too, including a fun African drumming workshop, a neon lantern workshop, and a neon photobooth for all those Instagrammable moments.
There will also be a variety of food trucks and drinks available for purchase at this after-dark festival. But, if you want to kick it up a notch, book a private igloo in the Igloo Village. Setting you back $350, this cosy and private igloo is perfect for groups of up to eight people. Nibble your way through a shared grazing box, and enjoy three bottles of local wine from Hume’s wine region. You will have your choice of red, white or sparkling. These warm igloos are very limited, and available for those over the age of 18.
End your evening with a bang, by gazing at a marvellous fireworks show at 9:50pm.
