The team from the chocolateries and ice creameries in Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Great Ocean Road have created a whopping 144 flavours for you to choose from. Think Limoncello Spritz, Salted Caramel S’mores, a Wicked-inspired scoop and more! Savour it all over twelve indulgent days, from Wednesday February 12 to Sunday February 23.
Ice Cream Festival
This delicious Ice Cream Festival is brought to you from the same team that did the Brownie Festival and the Hot Chocolate Festival last year. Take a drive out to any of the three locations this summer and enjoy all the beautiful artisan flavours of ice cream they have to offer.
The unique flavours are inspired by cocktails, daring ingredient combinations and the Chocolateries’ chocolate and pastry creations. Everyone can join in on the fun, with creations for kids and vegan, gluten-friendly and sugar-free options.
There will be twelve different ice creams and sorbets to try each day, adding up to a massive 144 ice cream flavours over the course of the festival. You can get them in a cup or a cone for $6.20 per scoop. For more delights, indulge in a limited-edition menu of ice cream desserts. If you’d like to take in the sunshine and picturesque views outdoors, grab a daily Ice Cream Festival Picnic Box. This picnic box is $24.50, and will have twelve mini scoops for you to try.
If you’d like a glimpse behind the curtain, try an Ice Cream Festival Tasting Session. Over 45 minutes, you’ll try twelve different ice cream flavours, along with some tasty toppings. Bookings are essential, and sessions are $28 per person.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Each visitor that buys a Festival scoop is eligible to take part in the Guess The Flavour experience. Sample mystery ice cream and identify the taste sensations on a competition entry form. One winner will be drawn at the end of the festival, and will win a year’s supply of ice cream.
