We love a good swimming pool, and luckily for us, there’s an infinity pool right here in Melbourne that’s serving up spectacular views of Port Phillip Bay and the surrounding areas. Channelling the same elegant vibes of the famous infinity pool at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands, this 28-metre oasis features dreamy views, sunken loungers and botanical cocktails. You’ll find the infinity pool on the rooftop of Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands, and if you’re not staying at the hotel, that’s ok! From Monday to Thursday, members of the public can book a day pass, so you can get a taste of the high life in this magnificent pool.
Infinity pool at Melbourne Marriott Hotel Docklands
Whether you’re soaking in the summer sunshine, or escaping the winter chill, this outdoor pool is perfect for swims all year long. It’s heated to a comfortable 28°C, so you can have a relaxing swim without worrying about Melbourne’s weather.
Wade through the gentle waters, or take in panoramic views from one of the sunken loungers. From the wet-edge pool, you can see the Bolte Bridge, the urban landscape of Docklands, Port Phillip Bay and beyond.
The day pass includes access to the pool, gym, sauna and changeroom, and you’ll also receive one complimentary towel to use.
If you’re hungry, there’s a QR code available so you can order burgers, pizzas, mocktails and snacks. There’s also the rooftop pool bar, Sunset House, which serves up a range of botanical cocktails.
Day pass tickets cost $50 per adult, or $25 for children under 12. This gives you access to the pool between 11am and 7pm.
Otherwise, you can really treat yourself, book a staycation, and enjoy daily access to the pool from 6am to 9pm.
