St Kilda’s most iconic pub is all set to turn into Melbourne’s hottest pit stop—because Jack’s Garage is back at The Espy for round two, and they’re switching gears to overdrive for Grand Prix Weekend.
From Thursday, 5th March to Sunday, 8th March 2026, the beachside institution will once again play host to four nights of free live music and after-dark antics, all powered by Jack Daniel’s and a stacked Aussie lineup guaranteed to keep you hopping long after the cars are parked.
Envision the Gershwin Room pulsing neon as race die-hard trade their chequered flags for the burn of Tennessee whisky, spilling onto Acland Street with thumping bass till dawn.
The Soundtrack To Jack’s Garage

- Thursday, 5th March: The Presets—charging in hot from their summer tour and fresh off a huge Australian Open set.
- Friday, 6th March: Slowly Slowly—Melbourne’s own soft-punk storytellers performing heart and hooks in equal measure
- Saturday, 7th March: Anna Lunoe—the globe-trotting DJ returning home to spin a set made for sweat and strobe lights.
- Sunday, 8th March: Keli Holiday—our homegrown alt-pop romantic closing the weekend with shimmering beats and the glow of a triple j Hottest 100 hit (Yup, we’re still Dancing2 it).
The best part about Jack’s Garage is that it’s completely free—you just need to RSVP and get there early before the Gershwin Room hits capacity (and trust us, it definitely will). Dance the night away with waves of whiskey cocktails, that signature Espy buzz and a crowd that knows Melbourne parties are best when the revs are high.
And just quietly, Jack Daniel’s is teasing more race-week fun still to come—so keep your engines warm.
