Friday June 6 is no ordinary Friday. It’s National Doughnut Day, and it’s rapidly approaching. To help you get in the spirit of things, Krispy Kreme Australia is giving away their Original Glazed doughnuts. Pop into your local store and claim your free doughnut this Friday. This is available while stocks last, and there is a limit of one freebie per customer. You don’t need to make a purchase to claim your free doughnut.
Free doughnuts from Krispy Kreme
The Krispy Kreme team have prepared some tips to help you celebrate the day with ease.
- Spot the Hot Light – When you see the Hot Light on, that means the doughnuts are rolling down the production line, going through the glaze waterfall and landing in your box fresh and warm. Of course, all Krispy Kreme doughnuts are made fresh daily, but there’s something extra special about trying your treat hot off the production line. The Hot Light stores in Victoria are in Fawkner, Bulleen and Fountain Gate.
- Avoid peak hour – If you want to avoid the rush, aim for the quiet morning hours between 6am and 11am. Peak hour is typically between 4pm and 5pm.
- Plan your travel ahead of time – Avoid long queues and plan out which store you’d like to visit ahead of time.
The free doughnuts are available in all Krispy Kreme stores, except for the airport stores in Sydney and Brisbane. This offer is also not applicable in places like 7-Eleven, Woolworths, Coles, Ampol, Costco, bp-Connect or via delivery platforms like Uber Eats. It’s also not available on the Krispy Kreme online pre-order menu.
You can also get a free Original Glazed donut if you order via the Same Day Quick-Order Menu, as long as you purchase another item first.
