For a cute and cosy way to warm up this winter, wander over to L’Arte Della Gelato in Fitzroy. This neighbourhood gelato spot is serving up a special hot chocolate for a limited time. This adorable drink features an ube-flavoured marshmallow carefully piped out in the shape of a flower along the rim of the cup. The purple flower is toasted nicely with a blowtorch, then an indulgent hot chocolate is poured inside. To complete the flower, the drink is topped with a scoop of gelato, finished with a drizzle of hot chocolate. This viral treat looks almost too good to drink!

You’ll find this shop on Brunswick street, where its cheerful, green signage promises a brief refuge from the grey winter days. Duck inside, and indulge in this picture-perfect sweet treat.
You can customise the drink by choosing your own ice cream flavour. On the menu, you’ll find plenty of tasty choices, such as Milo Tim Tam, Matcha Strawberry, Honeycomb and Banoffee Pie. As for the hot chocolate, you can choose between a Belgian dark or Belgian white chocolate.
Not sure how to drink it? You get a straw and a spoon, so you can try it without smearing marshmallow everywhere. This pretty dessert is available from now until winter ends.
