The twinkling evening experience, LIT, is returning to Melbourne’s west. Back for its fourth year, you’ll gaze at lovely light installations, dreamy landscapes, dazzling projections and more. This experience will transform Wyndham Park over 14 glimmering nights. Check it out from Thursday to Sunday, from March 27 to April 13. The best part? It’s completely free to attend!
LIT at Wyndham Park
Journey to Wyndham Park in Werribee after sunset, and enjoy a spectacular dreamscape. This family-friendly event will run from 7pm to 11pm each night. There will also be two Sensory Friendly Nights on Wednesday April 2 and Wednesday April 9. Throughout the event, there will also be a dedicated sensory space.
Highlights include:
- Ephemeral Collection from Atelier Sisu – marvel at over 50 massive iridescent bubbles that radiate colour and sound.
- Tarutharu – The Kaurna Skink – created by A Blanck Canvas in collaboration with First Nations artist Elizabeth Close and Jack Buckskin, this 27-metre-long glowing sculpture shares the story of the Kaurna Skink.
- Ctrl-Alt-Self by Studio John Fish – create and interact with a holographic projection of yourself in real time.
