You’ve heard of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Now, get ready for a heroic twist at the Marvel Stadium Walk of Legends. Starting from today, you’ll see your favourite Marvel characters honoured with a plaque along the stadium’s concourse outside of Gate 4. A new group of characters will be revealed every two weeks throughout July and August, ending at the Four’N Twenty Legends Game for Prostate Cancer on Thursday, August 27.

These super plaques were designed by Australian artist, Wayne Nichols. Each plaque celebrates a character whose strength, story and legacy have left a lasting mark on the Marvel Universe. The first characters to be enshrined are Yelena Belova, Red Guardian and Bucky Barnes.

“Marvel Stadium is our home ground for Marvel fandom in Australia,” said Kylie Watson-Wheeler, Senior Vice President and Managing Director for The Walt Disney Company Australia and New Zealand. “We’re excited fans can enjoy this special display of legendary Marvel characters and the many other iconic touchpoints throughout Marvel Stadium ahead of the release of the highly anticipated Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday.”

When you’re not checking out the Walk of Legends, pop into the Super-Store at Marvel Stadium. This shop is the only dedicated Marvel store in Australia, with adult and children’s apparel, toys, action figures and accessories. Swing by and check out the range, then collect and purchase exclusive, limited-edition artwork of Marvel characters by local Australian artists. Available while stocks last, these pieces will be available to collect with any Marvel branded product purchase.
You’ll find the Super-Store at the Gate 5 entrance. It’s open on weekdays from 10am to 3pm, and at all AFL Matches from when gates open.
Avengers: Doomsday will come out in Australian cinemas on Thursday, December 17.
