If you’ve seen the viral Jellycat Diner experience in New York, then you’ll be happy to know that something very similar has popped up in Melbourne. In celebration of Lunar New Year, you can order adorable plushies shaped like your favourite snacks. Watch as a plushie artisan ‘cooks’ your order to perfection, and take the plushie home to cherish forever. MC Takeaway is now open, and this pop-up is on until Friday February 27.

If you spend $88 or more at Melbourne Central, head to this cute pop-up on Level 1 to receive a free plushie. Available while stocks last, you can order a delightful plushie. Will you go for Bob the Bubble Tea, Duncan Dumpling, Fergus Fortune Cookie or Felipé the Fried Chicken?
Giggle as the talented ‘chef’ steams the dumpling or fries the chicken, and packs it in a little takeaway box for you.
On top of the free plushie, you’ll also receive a voucher from one of Melbourne Central’s food or entertainment retailers.
This experience is open from 12:30pm to 6:30pm each day, but if you’ve got your heart set on a particular plushie, it’s best to arrive sooner rather than later. You’ll find MC Takeaway opposite Sephora.
