Formula 1‘s opening round returns to Albert Park from 5th-8th March, drawing crowds to Melbourne, and two McLaren stars are driving excitement with city-centre pop-ups. Reigning world champion Lando Norris and Aussie ace Oscar Piastri are turning Chapel Street and the CBD into must-visit spots for fans (lovingly called Tifosi) seeking merch, memorabilia and meet-and-greets before the green flag drops.
Lando Norris Takes Over South Yara with Quadrant’s First-Ever Pop-Up

Fresh off his 2025 World Championship win, Lando Norris is celebrating his latest victory by taking Quadrant —his motorsport-inspired lifestyle brand—from the digital world to real life. For the first time ever, Quadrant is popping up IRL, landing on Chapel Street from 5th to 7th March with an experience that blends fashion, fandom and precision-engineered style.
From limited-edition Melbourne capsules to interactive race simulators and a preview of Quadrant’s 2026 collection—experience it all wrapped in the adrenaline-charged atmosphere that mirrors Norris’s on-track presence. “We’ve built something special online,” Norris said. “Bringing it to life in Melbourne ahead of the F1 is a dream. Winning here last year was unbelievable—Australia’s always had a special place in my heart.”
With backing from Sushi Sushi, Asahi and –196, the South Yarra pop-up invites fans to step inside the Quadrant universe, where sport meets streetwear and race culture becomes lifestyle.

Oscar Piastri Brings the Rush to the Melbourne CBD with Quad Lock

Meanwhile, homegrown hero Oscar Piastri is gearing up for his first race of the season by giving Melbourne fans a closer look at his journey to F1 glory. On Tuesday, 3rd March, Piastri will officially open Quad Lock’s immersive Melbourne pop-up—a celebration of his partnership with the Aussie tech brand and a showcase of his story so far.
Located on Little Collins Street, the space blends retail with reflection, offering a glimpse into the moments that shaped Piastri’s career—from his early karting days to the global stage. At last, fans can explore archival footage, catch a glimpse one of his first go-karts and even challenge themselves on racing simulators and reflex tests.
The opening night will feature Piastri himself at a special launch event at 7:30pm, unveiling Quad Lock’s 2026 McLaren range for the first time. There’ll be exclusive merch, 40 prize giveaways (including signed mini helmets), and the pulse-pounding energy that only GP race week can bring.
“Watching Oscar’s rise has been incredibly rewarding,” said Dominic Storey, Quad Lock’s Global Head of Sports Marketing. “This felt like the right moment to create something that celebrates both our partnership and his journey—and there’s no better place to do it than Melbourne.”
