Meatstock is returning this month with barbecues, butcher wars, bourbon and bull runs planned in Melbourne, Sydney and Toowoomba. Follow the smell of smoke, and discover live music acts, food trucks, expo stores and more. Meatstock will take over Melbourne Showgrounds on Saturday March 18 and Sunday March 19.
Meatstock
Barbecue fans in the city and the country can look forward to two days of debauchery complete with burger-eating contests, food trucks, moustache competitions and plenty of beer. The stacked line-up of vendors includes Red Gum BBQ, Fancy Hanks, Smokin Hot ’N Saucy, Bluebonnet, Hoy Pinoy and many more.
This year around, they’re welcoming the internationally renowned Professional Bull Riders (PBR) at all Meatstock locations so attendees can buckle up for the most thrilling 8 seconds in sports and find out what it means to be an Aussie cowboy.
Like every year, music will be central to the event with a number of exciting country music acts gearing up to put on a show. In Melbourne, Brad Cox, Darlinghurst, Amber Lawrence, The Pleasures and The Surreal McCoys are some of the many acts lined up.
Plus expect monster battles in strength tournaments like the Viking Deadlift, Truck Pull, Deadlift Medley, Max Monster Dumbbells and the Stone series.
