After opening its doors in ’98, and having 13 stores in Sydney, El Jannah has finally come to Melbourne. El Jannah is currently doing a soft opening, but will officially open its doors tomorrow on Saturday April 30.
El Jannah in Melbourne
First and foremost, the chain is known for its Lebanese-style charcoal chicken. You can get in wholes, halves, and quarters, on a plate served with Lebanese bread, mixed pickles and their to-die-for garlic sauce. You can also get the chicken in a meal for yourself with chips, garlic sauce and a drink.
But that’s not all El Jannah does. They also do rolls, burgers, fried chicken and traditional items like tawouk skewers, shawarma beef and freshly made falafel. For salads, you’ll find favourites like tabouli and fattoush.
If you’re worried about holding up the drive-thru, check out their menu here so you’re prepared. Of course, if you can always order and dine inside the restaurant.
And if you’re a bit far from Preston, don’t worry. El Jannah is planning to expand with even more stores in Melbourne over the next few years.
