The electrifying, after-hours party, Nocturnal, is returning to Melbourne Museum. This late-night series features live music, museum tours, curator talks, classes and pop-up performances. And now, they’re serving up fashion too, as part of PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival’s Fashion Culture Program. Check it out on Friday March 10, from 7pm to 11pm.
Nocturnal x The Fashion Edition at Melbourne Museum
Celebrate Melbourne’s thriving live music scene at this 18+ event. The party will start with Sui Zhen, who will start the night with a chilled DJ set of experimental pop. After that, enjoy entrancing psych-fusion from Glass Beams.
Get on the dancefloor and continue celebrating through the night with nine-strong group Ausecuma Beats. The night will end with bangers from a DJ set by Dan Whitford, front man of Cut Copy.
While you’re there, roam the museum and check out all of their incredible exhibitions. Mob in Fashion and Melbourne Fashion Festival partnered with the museum to present Future/History from March 3 to 12. This exclusive exhibition is a display of First Peoples fashion design, with 16 garments made by three artists.
There will also be a badge-making station on the night, so you can create something to take home.
The night will kick off at 7pm, and end at 11pm.
