Miilk Cake Studio
Step into a futuristic-looking shop on Swanston Street, decked out in silver chrome and white neon lights, and find wonderfully fluffy and sweet cakes. There’s Western flavours, like basque cheesecake, red velvet, and chocolate tart, as well as Asian flavours. Try Miilk’s Tropical Paradise, a cake that layers like pandan sponge with mango cream, jelly and pulp. Opt for the Triple Hojicha, a slightly nutty cake that has Japanese hojicha infused into Miilk cream and sponge.
For a tribute to the beloved Milo Dinosaur drink, try the Milo Dino cake, a light chocolate sponge layered with whipped Milo and coffee cream, Milo crumb, and filled with Belgian chocolate sauce. Meanwhile, the Ube Cloud cake uses a complex ube-infused (or purple yam-infused) sponge, curd and cream to create a unique vanilla and nutty flavour.
