A $26.2 million luxury resort is set to transform the Grampians region. Currently known as the Mount Zero Resort project, this holiday venue will be the perfect place to unwind and rest after a day of exploration. It’s set to feature 40 accommodation villas, as well as a restaurant and café. Mount Zero Resort is expected to open in 2024.
Planning applications for stage one of the project have been approved by Horsham Rural City Council. It is expected to provide an additional 17, 520 overnight stays in the Grampians on an annual basis, attracting more visitors to the region. Tourism is a major industry in the Grampians, and the area received 1.9 million visitors in 2022.
The Mount Zero Resort will be situated at the northern edge of the Grampians National Park. Its location will be the perfect base for tourists to walk along the Grampians Peaks Trail.
On top of the accommodation villas, it will have a spa and wellness facility, plunge pool, function centre and landscaped gardens.
