Based on a true story, The Conjuring is enough to frighten us in broad daylight. Follow Ed and Lorraine Warren, a couple of paranormal investigators as they take on the most terrifying and haunting case of their careers.

No need for much introduction here. American Horror Story is an absolute go-to for many terror lovers and is possibly the best horror series since the X-files.
13. Dark Shadows
From acclaimed filmmaker Tim Burton, Johnny Depp stars as Barnabas – a rich playboy who faces the wrath of witch Angelique when he breaks her heart in two. And back for revenge two centuries later is vampire Barnabas, who’s been buried alive for over 200 years.
