It’s hard to believe, but the Myer Christmas Windows have been enchanting visitors to the city for 70 years. Stroll over to Bourke Street Mall and take part in this beloved Melbourne tradition. Take a peek inside the six iconic windows this festive season, and marvel at a fantastic display of LEGO. This year, follow the travels of a child’s letter from a Melbourne post office to Santa’s North Pole workshop. You can check it out every day from now until Sunday January 11.

Myer Christmas Windows 2025
See a total of 488,215 LEGO bricks in over 40 colours in this cheerful display. Journey from a Melbourne post office to the North Pole, and see Santa’s sorting room, workshop and present wrapping room. Then, soar back to Australia with a reindeer flight on Christmas Eve. As you go, you’ll see a cast of over 700 LEGO minifigures attending Carols By Candlelight at Sidney Myer Music Bowl, and making preparations for the MCG’s Boxing Day Test.

The smaller side windows will also have LEGO creations, celebrating the themes from the past.
Swing by after dark for delightful animated LEGO projections on the façade of the building.
This theme was brought to life with narration from Hamish Blake, and the skills of Stage One’s Creative and Technical Director, John Kerr, LEGO master builder Peter Donner and LEGO Certified professional Ryan “The Brickman” McNaught. Learn more about the Myer Christmas Windows here.
After seeing the display, wander down to the Basement at Myer Melbourne, and have some hands-on fun in the LEGO Christmas Playland. This space features interactive build zones, photo moments and limited-edition LEGO creations. You’ll find a Christmas-inspired kangaroo, which will be free to build and take home. The Basement activation is on from now until Christmas Eve.

For more festive fun, make a booking to meet Santa himself. There’s options for Baby’s First Christmas, a sensory-friendly session and even visits for cats and dogs! Learn more about it here.
