Myer Christmas Windows
This year’s display is called An Irwin’s Christmas Story, and features Ace the Eagle alongside lifelike figures of Terri, Robert and Bindi Irwin. Join Ace on an adventure across six windows, as he explores Australia Zoo and crosses oceans and savannahs. See incredible creatures like meerkats, lemurs, elephants, tigers and more.
“We’re thrilled to see the spirit of our family and Australia Zoo come to life in Myer’s Christmas Windows!” said Terri Irwin. “Through this captivating display, we hope to deepen people’s connection to the wonder of wildlife and wild places, while emphasising the importance of conservation. We can’t wait for everyone to experience the joy and excitement of Christmas with Australia Zoo!”
This experience took over twelve months to plan. It features the voices of Robert and Bindi Irwin, and includes 30 animal figures, with custom-built animatronics to mimic their natural movements.
After you’ve admired the Windows, head inside the store and go up to Mural Hall on Level 6. There, you’ll find Christmas at the Crocoseum, a commissioned production that’s based on the Australia Zoo Wildlife Warrior Show.
