Notre-Dame de Paris, the Augmented Exhibition at Immigration Museum
This exhibition was designed and produced by digital heritage specialists, Histovery, in collaboration with Rebuilding Notre-Dame de Paris. Each visitor will use a HistoPad, an augmented reality tablet that will transport you through the cathedral’s 850-year history.
Head back to the Middle Ages, when the stones of the site were first laid, and witness other key moments in history, such as the wedding of King Henry IV, the coronation of Napoleon Bonaparte, and the construction of Notre-Dame’s spire. Finally, return to the present day, and learn all about the experts that have painstakingly restored the cathedral to its former glory.
Complemented the exhibition, you’ll find the Parisian pop-up, Le Café. Treat yourself to buttery pastries from Carlton’s Calle Bakery.
The cost of seeing this exhibition will be included with museum entry, which is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors. Children and concession are free.
