Get Steamy With Dumplings For Dating At Oriental Teahouse

Enjoy a saucy board game dining experience.

Does your dating life need to be spiced up? If you’re feeling a bit stuck for ideas after coming out of lockdown, and you’re looking to try something different on date night, why don’t you head to Oriental Teahouse for a dumpling sesh? Oriental Teahouse has decided to spice up the reliable dumpling date night with Dumplings for Dating, a board game feasting experience. During your meal, you’ll get to know the other players better by asking them saucy questions.

Dumplings for Dating

Play this game in a group of two to four people. In this board game, you’ll use a QR code to roll the dice in a COVID-safe way. Make your way through the game by asking personal, flirty and revealing questions. No question is off-limits.

The game is divided into four stages. First, you must “Break the ice”. This is then followed by “Foreplay”, “Deep and Meaningful”, and finally “Happily Ever After”.

As you play the game, food and drinks are brought out periodically. You’ll feast your way through handmade dumplings with delicious flavours like prawn, pork and chive, lemongrass chicken and chilli wagyu beef. There will also be three side dishes to keep things interesting. After that, you’ll end the night on a sweet note with signature white chocolate dumplings.

Oriental Teahouse can adjust the Dumplings for Dating menu to be vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free, so everyone can have fun!

If you need booze to loosen up, drinks are included in the package so you don’t have to stress. Choose between a Pink Panther cocktail, made with Haku vodka, lychee, lemon and Aperol, or a Hello Vera cocktail, made with Roku gin, aloe vera juice, mint, lime and soda. There’s also a choice of beer, wine or sparkling.

Dumplings for Dating is $82 per person and is available in both their Chapel Street and Little Collins Street locations. Bookings are required for this experience.
