Prahran Market will soon transform into a proper potato playground, with 13 spud-inspired dishes for you to try. Celebrate these carby delights with gnocchi, raclette, potato whiskey tastings and more, then look forward to demonstrations and family-friendly entertainment. The Potato Party will take place on Saturday, August 8 from 10am to 3pm.

Hepburn Distillery will be there, offering samples of their potato vodka. Made from locally grown spuds, you can learn more about the distilling process behind their spirit. Meanwhile, the Celtic Club will be offering up potato whiskey tastings, as well as Black Emerald Whiskey tastings and live Irish bands.
From 11am, check out a live gnocchi demonstration in the Market Square.
There will also be free potato printing for the kids between 10am to 1pm.
