Pretty Valley Blue Pools in Falls Creek
Whether you need to cool off on a warm sunny day, or you’re really into cold plunges, you’ll have a blast dipping into the alpine waters of the Pretty Valley Blue Pools.
To find it, drive along Pretty Valley Road until you see the turn off for Pretty Valley Dam Wall. Drive past the dam wall, and park your car at the end of the road. From there, go for a little walk down the side of the hill and along the creek, until you see the sparkling pool on your left.
Dip your toes into the water, then take the plunge into the ice-cold pool. Splash around the water, and take in gorgeous views of Mt Mckay, the highest driveable peak in Australia at 1842 metres.
