Winter Night Market
Christmas in July
Over five weeks, the Winter Night Market will be decked out in Christmas cheer. Experience a white Christmas with falling snow, live ice sculpting and a forest of twinkling Christmas trees. Warm up with festive drinks by an open fire, like mulled wine, butterbeer and hot gin toddys. There will be roving elves, carollers and more entertainment to keep you feeling merry and bright.
The first two weeks will also have some extra family fun for the school holidays. Both kids and adults can check out SnowDrift, a series of giant shapes that can be used to make massive snowflakes.
Families can also book and reserve private tables near the activities. You can book a table of six here.
The school holiday period will also have some new food traders, including:
- Nomi Katsu Food Truck – feast on katsu sando, karaage and katsu curry.
- Smashville – sink your teeth into southern fried chicken burgers and Nashville hot chicken burgers.
- Mr. Baller – try their New Yorker Sub, Hot ‘Baller’ Dogs and loaded nachos.
- Bigger than Texas – tuck into beef or pork ribs, wings and roasted corn.
- Pasta Face – warm up with slow-cooked Tuscan beef and ragu potato gnocchi.
After that, browse through the sheds and laneways and find unique treasures from over 60 specialty stores. Find upcycled furniture, vinyl records, fashion, jewellery, Korean-style photo booths and even a tarot card reading. You can also look forward to weekly entertainment, including the popular Guru Dudu Silent Disco.
Entry to this winter wonderland is completely free! So, dress warm, come hungry, and have a good time.
