Australia’s first-ever NFL regular season game is coming soon, with the San Francisco 49ers facing off against the Los Angeles Rams at the MCG on Friday, September 11. And to celebrate the occasion, the Riverwalk at Crown Melbourne will transform into the ultimate Rams fan zone, complete with a floating football field, a mariachi band, cheerleaders and more. Known as Rams House: The LA Tailgate Experience, this space will let you feel the atmosphere and traditions of a Rams home game. It’s free to visit, and will run from Thursday, September 10 to Saturday, September 12.

Crown is set to be the official home for Los Angeles Rams fans in Australia, as well as the official fan hotel, with the Riverwalk acting as the centrepiece. Whether you’re new to the game, or you’re a passionate fan, stroll along the Yarra and soak in the energy.
Rams House: The LA Tailgate Experience will be split into two parts – The Tailgate and The Deck. In the Tailgate, you’ll find Chevrolet Silverados set up to mimic a tailgate, an LA Rams-branded lowbrider and a one-of-a-kind GMC Yukon. Grab a treat from the LA-inspired food truck or a drink from the bar, and look forward to plenty of entertainment like a Rams Mariachi band, the Rams Cheerleaders, a DJ and more.
Fans will have fun taking photos with the Super Bowl LVI trophy, hanging out with the Rams mascot, Rampage, meeting Rams Legends and buying merch from the kiosk. Test your catching ability in the Rams ‘High Jump’ activation, or take a photo and walk away with a custom trading card of yourself.
Meanwhile, the Deck will feature a 20-metre-long floating football field, as well as a giant screen for fans to watch the game and a viewing area.
Additional fan experiences will be announced in the lead-up to the match.
