Ricotta Festival by That’s Amore Cheese
You better come hungry, because there will be fresh ricotta straight from the vat when you arrive. There will also be plenty of delicious food to try, like ricotta gnocchi, ravioli, prochetta rolls, sausages and cannoli from Cannoleria. Quench your thirst with milkshakes from Gippsland Jersey, and cocktails from Imbue Distillery. After you’ve had your fill of food and drink, browse through the marketplace and discover some local produce to take home.
Then, try an intimate masterclass with Julia Busuttil Nishimura, cook and author of “Ostro”. In just 45 minutes, you’ll learn how to make your own ricotta gnocchi, and enjoy a glass of wine along the way. Tickets for these masterclasses are extremely limited, and must be booked with a Premium Experience ticket.
There will also be free educational talks during the day, from That’s Amore Cheese founder Giorgio Linguanti. On the stage, there will be Italian music performed by Siesta Cartel. During the festival, there will be a petting farm to keep the kids happy.
Ticket prices range from $10 for early bird general admission to $120 for the Premium Experience, which includes a masterclass, glass of wine, and select dishes to try. Children under 12 are free.
